NOW Foods just came out with another round of testing other companies’ supplements, and like in the past, the results are not good.
14 out of 22 samples failed potency testing, and 13 out of the 14 failures contained less than 1 mg of astaxanthin. Each of the 24 mg products failed very severely, and the only gummy tested contained less than 1% of astaxanthin.
My two cents.
Number one: Buy your supplements and protein powders from companies that you can trust. I don’t give a rat’s ass WHAT their website says about quality testing, quality control, and any other bullshit these scam artists can post. It does not matter. Scam artists are liars and cheaters who will lie to your face. My company, Protein Factory, has been in business for 25 years. And there is a REASON for that. My customers TRUST me, and I’m obligated to fulfill that trust.
Number Two: Don’t look to save a few bucks when buying supplements. You’ll only end up buying snake oil. Amazon.com and Walmart.com don’t give a shit. They’ll tell you they quality check supplements sold on their website, and they do their due diligence, but they must have Donald Duck in charge of this job because this is about the 10th time NOW Foods is busting companies selling supplements on Amazon and Walmart, not the first. Some of the products I sell might be more expensive than the bullshit supplements being sold on Amazon.com, but at least they are REAL. And what you are buying is what you are getting.
